Here at The Compass Inn we welcome dogs in our bars, restaurants, gardens and selected hotel bedrooms. We ask that your dog is kept on a lead at all times for the comfort of other customers.
You are welcome to use our extensive grounds and gardens to exercise your furry friend, but pleas ensure you pick up after them.
If you are bringing a dog for your stay, please contact us directly on 01454 218242 to ensure that you are allocated a dog friendly room. We welcome well behaved, friendly dogs and ask that dogs are kept off of the beds and furniture.
Charges: we charge £15.00 per dog, per night and this charge will be paid directly to the hotel on arrival. If you do not inform us in advance that you will be bringing a dog with you, a £50.00 additional cleaning fee will also be charged on top of the standard dog charges. If your dog causes any damage or we feel that additional cleaning is required, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee (even in dog friendly bedrooms). For this reason, a valid card must be logged at reception on arrival.
Online Bookings: if you wish to book via an online method, please call us in advance to check our availability for dog friendly rooms, make your online booking promptly and once your booking is made you will need to contact us a second time to ensure you are allocated a dog friendly room as online reservations systems are unable to do this automatically.
